1. Quotations & Acceptance

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing is based on the information, drawings, specifications, quantities, and revision levels provided by the customer at the time of quote. Any changes may require re-quotation.

Issuance of a purchase order constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Customer-Supplied Data & Drawings

The customer is responsible for providing accurate and current drawings, specifications, revision levels, and marking content, including but not limited to:

• Part numbers

• Serial numbers

• UID / UDI data

• Data matrix content

• CAGE codes

• Compliance requirements

Jones DPM performs marking services based solely on the information provided. Jones DPM is not responsible for errors in customer-supplied data.

3. MIL-STD-130 & Specification Compliance

When marking is requested to meet MIL-STD-130 or other applicable standards, Jones DPM will produce markings in accordance with the specified standard and drawing requirements provided by the customer.

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Jones DPM does not assume responsibility for:

• Engineering interpretation of unclear specifications

• Assignment of UID constructs

• Verification of uniqueness beyond customer-supplied data

• System-level database submission or IUID registry uploads

Verification reports or readability checks will be provided only if included in the quoted scope of work.

4. Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) & Screen Charges

For silk screen marking, initial setup charges (NRE) may apply for:

• Screen creation

• Artwork preparation

• Exposure and setup

Screens may be retained for repeat orders when agreed upon. Jones DPM does not guarantee indefinite storage unless specifically arranged in writing.

NRE charges are non-refundable once screens or tooling have been produced.

5. Laser Marking Services

(Does not currently apply)

Laser marking services are performed in accordance with the drawing or marking specification provided. Final appearance may vary slightly due to material type, coating, anodize condition, or surface finish.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that parts are suitable for laser marking prior to submission.

6. Inspection & Acceptance

Customers are responsible for inspecting all parts upon receipt. Any concerns must be reported within 90 business days of delivery.

Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

7. Limitation of Liability

Jones DPM’s liability is limited to the cost of the marking services performed on the affected parts.

Jones DPM shall not be liable for:

• Consequential damages

• Downstream production delays

• Assembly costs

• Lost profits

• Removal or reinstallation costs

Under no circumstances shall liability exceed the amount invoiced for the specific marking services provided.

8. Turnaround Times

Estimated lead times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing. Expedited services may be available upon request.

9. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified on the quotation or invoice. Jones DPM reserves the right to require prepayment for first-time customers.

Late payments may result in delayed shipment of future orders.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.
